Flyer Printing

A custom flyer is generally a single sheet document printed in one, two, or full color process.  Standard sizes for custom flyers are 8-1/2 x 11, 8-1/2 x 14, and 11 x 17. Poster Printing

Posters are large sized methods to communicate with an audience and are commonly used for, but not limited to, the following:

  • To publicize and event;
  • To promote a service;
  • To sell a product.

Posters, unlike other advertising media, speak to audiences "on the move." Newspaper ads, magazine ads, and mailing pieces such brochures, flyers, and pamphlets are designed for the reader who has time to sit and take in a lot of information. An effective poster can capture a viewer's attention immediately and spark a response.

  • To acts as a constant representative of your business;
  • To accompany other forms of communication, i.e. a website, flyer, or brochure;

  • To showcase your products or services in detail, like a sales kit.

  • Business Proposals,

  • Conference Handouts.

Newsletter Printing

Newsletters are convenient methods of distributing information to a wide audience in a compact format. This form of communication is usually in one, two, or full color and is typically a single page or saddle-stitched.

Book Printing

Books are used to document and present an idea or concept that cannot be capture in the limited space of a few pages. The two most common methods available for printing books are:

Lithograph Printing uses a printing plate made of a thin flexible metal or plastic sheet mounted to a cylinder. The type of printing using metal plates is great for text and photos with an outstanding quality. However, it does cost more than the use of plastic plates that do not produce as good of quality.

Digital Printing uses a digital printing press to produce a printed piece. This book printing method is great for text but images will not be as sharp as the lithograph press. On the positive side, digital printing is less expensive, is variable, and additional print runs are easy and convenient.

Equally important to the method of printing is the way a book is bound. Some of the options to bind books include:

  • Spiral bound
  • Saddle-stitch
  • Perfect bound

Business Card Printing

Custom printed business cards are an essential tool in business communication. Business cards are the primary way to promote your business through the distribution of contact information. Business cards are commonly printed on 100# card stock and come in the standard size of 2 x 3-1/2, but can be customized to meet a client's taste and presentation preference.

Invitations

Invitations are used to ask the reader to attend a specified event or activity. There are two methods used in printing custom invitations, as described below:

Thermography uses a printing plate made of a thin flexible metal or plastic sheet.  Not getting into too much detail, three drums cylinders are used to drive out the printed images in mass quantity, such as for birthday or party invitations. It is much less expensive than engraving.

Engraving is a more traditional and formal method and is mostly used for special wedding invitations. This process involves etching the type into heavy cotton paper and is generally more expensive.

Whichever type of printing method you choose, it should match the degree of formality of your event. Engraved invitations are usually sent with small pieces of tissue separating the enclosures to keep slow-drying inks of the time from smudging. Today, tissue inserts remain a lovely tradition that enhances the rich, elegant look of the invitation.

Letterhead

Letterhead is business stationary presenting a company logo or other information printed on a standard 8-1/2 x 11 sheet.  It is normally custom printed on 60# to 80# paper stock.  Letterhead is crucial in making a good first impression and expressing an identity, beyond the actual layout.  A good letterhead design will give your company a professional image.

Greeting Cards

Custom greeting cards are ways to send unique messages to others as an alternative to using a preprinted card. These items can be printed as one, two, or full color media and come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Greeting cards can be folded to have two or three parts.

Digital Printing

Digital printing is a method that utilizes a digital printing press to produce a printed item. This method of printing is cost effective for short-runs or items that would need to be repeatedly printed since additional runs are quick to reproduce exactly and conveniently.
