We at GM printing have provided our printing services to the New York Community for more than 15-years from our previous location in the heart of Lower Manhattan, near Chinatown, a place that was convenient for both the local and Tri-state marketplace. Since the major downturn post-9/11, we were fortunate to expand and grow to a point where we were honored by becoming the official printer of Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and New York City Economic Development Corporation.
In an effort to continue our contribution to the economic development of the NYC Community, we acquired an 18,000 sq. ft. facility in Long Island City, New York in 2007 to become our new home as of early 2009. Since moving to our new location, with much faith and commitment to providing the best full service printing possible, we have purchased a Heidelberg Speedmaster SM102 8-color printing press. In addition to this new machine, which has the ability to print double-sided pages in a single run, we have also purchased a Fuji Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system to improve our plate output quality and a Xerox Docucolor 5000, to print short-run digital jobs at 2,400 dpi.
While we are proud of our products, customer service and achievements, nothing compares to the pride we have in our staff. We have a team of qualified individuals to serve our customers, which include museums, art galleries, designers, government agencies and trade associations.
The industry and its surroundings have changed a lot over the past decade, yet we have maintained the same objective: a commitment to deliver the best service and quality products to all our clients no matter how big or small at a fair price and timely manner with a focus on developing long lasting mutually beneficial relationships.
